Sometimes we don't realize what sacrifice is until we see places like these. I'm so grateful to have been able to visit a few of these humbling sites. The three pictures on bottom are from Normandy. Janelle and I looked forever to find relics. People say they still find metal in the sand from the invasion of Normandy. We weren't that lucky.
For everyone that has given their lives... I am grateful.

No, I went there two summers ago. I wish I just went. It's one of my favorite places in Europe
